Woodson & Rummerfield's™ Modage™ |
Ron Woodson and Jaime Rummerfield's exquisite taste and ever evolving sense of style harkens back to growing up in California.
For Jaime, who was raised in the beachy sand by artsy bohemians, it was the bold color palette of the sixties and seventies and the light of the California landscape that created her vision.
For Ron, being trotted around to the most elegant Hollywood homes by his high profile bass player father, made a lasting impression. The graceful lines of a beautiful piece of furniture he may have glimpsed as his father played, or the timelessness of an expensive silk dress worn by his fabulously chic Grandmother created a unique aesthetic.
All combined they coined the term "Modage", which is modern vintage. They like to think of it as a style that would permeate the home of a much admired Great Aunt. Maybe she's a bit mad - with a sort of Alice in Wonderland feel, and a personal style that knocks your socks off. Much like Ron and Jaime, it is a great mix of old Hollywood glamour and bright California moderne.
That is the root of Modage - and it is a style that is all their own.
