When the double doors of Woodson & Rummerfield's House of Design were flung open in the epicenter of La Cienega Boulevard's bustling design district, it was the culmination of years of design service and expertise and a passion for all that is High Style.
The principal partners, Ron Woodson and Jaime Rummerfield, like to think of their retail boutique more as the most stylish house on the block. Behind the striped awnings and English rose garden, within the picturesque windows, there is always a place to sit and have high tea at a beautifully set table topped-off with a tar dipped candelabra, or to grab a cocktail and chat around a chic vintage bar with a chandelier made of crystal goblets dangling above your head. Each room is designed around a constantly changing theme, where everything is for sale - always stylishly in flux.
The boutique is representative of everything W&R; - from hard-to-find noteworthy objects, to unique lighting, to the statement-making furniture, to wallpaper and fabrics that make a splash in any room - both vintage and modern but all "high design". W&R; is a glamorous destination - and the space has become emblematic of their highly sought after signature style.
